Dan Olson
Founder and CEO
With over 40 years in the Ag industry, Dan Olson is the founder of JAG Group and former SVP of Strategic Relationships at Indigo Ag where led his team to a 105% sales increase in Carbon, Scope 3, and Biologics. Olson developed Indigo’s Biofuels strategy and managed key agricultural relationships. Previously, as SVP at Bushel, he grew the company to capture 61% of the US grain market in three years.
Dan has collaborated with major CPG's like AB InBev, Walmart, Nestle, and McDonald's, and advised on sustainability and strategic initiatives. He is also and early adopter and investor in ag technologies and ethanol plants.
Christopher Ruel
Chief Operating Officer
Christopher Ruel brings over 20 years of leadership, planning, and project management experience in both start-ups and large organizations. A 24-year U.S. Army veteran, and Special Forces Officer, he is a technologist and security professional passionate about agriculture and sustainability.
At Indigo Ag, Chris was the Director of the Biofuels Business Unit, where he built a sales pipeline valued at $148M annually. As Chief of Staff for North America, he oversaw administrative, financial, and operational activities under Dan Olson. As the Sr. Process Architect for Global Operations, he designed and improved business processes and facilitated technology enablement.
He holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee and is pursuing a second master's in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He is a credentialed CISSP, LSS Green Belt, and 38G.6R (Civil Affairs technology and telecommunications specialist) where he advises foreign governments on, and develops, technology solutions based on an indigenous society’s capacity to absorb them.

Head of Sustainability Policy & Technology
Brad Justice is an accomplished entrepreneur and former CEO of the sustainability modeling company Soil Metrics, which was acquired by Indigo Ag. Prior to leading Soil Metrics, Brad founded a fully integrated fiber ingredient business in the Nebraska panhandle.
Brad’s expertise is at the intersection of policy, technology and sustainable ag business models where he emphasizes the opportunity to transform sustainable agriculture into a strategic competitive advantage.
Firmly rooted in the belief that “farming is a climate solution”, Brad believes in the ability of our farmers and producers to transform the world.

As a seasoned professional in the field of grain trading and market development, Dan Mehochko has accrued an impressive 30 years of experience spanning multiple continents and cultures. Throughout this time, Dan has honed a deep understanding of industry trends and market forces, enabling them to stay ahead of the curve and achieve consistent success.
At the heart of Dan's approach to business lies an unwavering commitment to relationship building. With a keen eye for identifying opportunities and a natural ability to connect with others, Dan has forged lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the industry, from growers and suppliers to traders and buyers.
With a deep appreciation for the importance of market development, Dan has been instrumental in shaping the direction of the industry in countless ways. Drawing on a wealth of experience and a vast network of connections, Dan has driven innovation and spearheaded the successful launch of numerous new products and initiatives.

Zach Messmer
National Account Executive
Zach grew up in the small town of Lisbon, ND, just a few miles from the original and still-operating Bobcat Company factory. After high school, he relocated to Fargo, ND, to attend NDSU and play football. Zach graduated in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education but soon realized his true calling was to become a police officer. After completing the police academy, He was hired by the Fargo Police Department, where he served until 2019.
In 2019, Zach returned to his small-town roots and pursue his interest in agriculture. He began working with Bushel, helping to build the product and client base from the ground up. After gaining valuable experience he took his expertise to Roger, where he continued to excel in sales. Most recently, he was a National Account Executive at Indigo Ag, where he built up their customer base.
